About Hannah

Hannah is a wheel throwing potter, making bowls, pots and other ceramic loveliness using earthenware and stoneware clay. Most of Hannah’s work is functional - either tableware or more recently she has been making pot covers for houseplants.

The natural qualities of the clay I use are beautiful so sometimes I leave my work unglazed on the outside, but I also like to apply colour using slips and engobes to add layers of colour and texture. It’s important to me that my pots are as enjoyable to hold as they are to look at, so hopefully you’ll find my work to be pleasantly textured and tactile.
